My old (obviously) Dell was really starting to slow down. I had done everything in my power from a software standpoint to make the old girl sing, all to no avail. Out of desperation, I started going to all the local PC stores and even all the big box stores in my area. Everybody gave me the same answer... "RDRAM!?!?! Good luck with that!!!" I've never bought much from Amazon for fear of all the retailers screwing me over, I know I'm horribly paranoid. Long story short, I typed my PC name (Dell Dimension, 8250) and boom! The first hit was exactly what I was after. I placed the order on Tuesday afternoon, had it in the mail box on Thursday, WAY less than the still reasonable 3-6 day estimate. Thanks a bazillion to Amazon and Arch Computer Memory for saving my old PC from a sure trip to the recycling center. I also called Arch at the number that came with the product, just to see about doubling the RAM I had just purchased. I was kindly and promptly greeted by a VERY knowledgeable tech support person who had the right answers to all my questions. The price for the 512mb strips was quite a bit more than I am currently willing to put into the old dinosaur, but still, knowing how great Amazon and Arch are, I will most definitely be calling utilizing them for any PC upgrades in the future.

The product arrived in 2 days after placing the order. Customer support at 1 Arch Computer did an excellent job in answering the questions about the product. This is a PC800-40 ECC RAM. Installation is plug and play and takes less than 5 minutes. I can use my Dell 8200 again after installing 1 GB memory. Some of the applications used to take such a long time before the upgrade. The money is worth spending if you want to hang on to Dell 8200 for some more time.

These speakers do a great job considering their cost. I have had them for a month or so and have no complaints. The control tower is convenient as well. When I bought these there weren't many reviews for them so I took a chance and it paid off for my needs. If you are looking for really expensive and top of the line sound, these are obviously not for you. But if you need an economical replacement for old speakers, these do a solid job and deliver what you expect and a little more for how much they cost.

I also read Frank Borzellieri's two previous books about race and immigration, which were both a collection of his newspaper columns, and realized that he was truly a talented writer. But this book is different in that it tells what he personally went through as a school board member in a very liberal city such as New York.
At first I couldn't believe that he could even get elected in New York. But the book explains that his district was a conservative white area. He also explains that the other whites on the school board hypocritically promoted multi-racialism and integration, but lived in white neighborhoods.
What is most fascinating about the book are the details Borzellieri explains in each individual controversy. He reports how he needed a police escort out of a raucous school board meeting when he was verbally (and viciously) attacked for four hours. The cops later told him that they supported everything he was saying.
Whether it is about liberals banning pro-American books, liberals promoting failed bilingual education programs, liberals opposing a resolution that stated that Western culture was superior to all others, or liberals defending a gay teacher who discussed his lifestyle in front of his class, this book tells the story of all those battles. I would add that Borzellieri freely and painfully admits that he lost almost every vote on the board. But still he battled courageously for the values he and his community believed in.
Other reviewers have detiailed the individual controversies, so I will simply point out that Borzellieri was clearly, if you add up the votes, the most popular vote-getter in his district, once gaining three times the votes of the second-place finisher.
What also stands out about the book is Borzellieri's sense of humor. He destroys his opponents' arguments (what one reviewer referred to as their "babbling idiocy") with biting humor and straight-forward quips.
I can't recommend this book enough. A great, great read.

The standard battery for the S2 is 1800mAh. You get 2 batteries rated for 2000mAh with no change in battery size + a wall charger that can recharge a battery AND has a USB port for $35. What's not to love? I remember back in the days a replacement cellphone battery cost $50 ALONE.

When multi-tasking on the S2 with games/internet/apps it can eat a lot of power. Having 3 batteries would normally be seen as trivial to most people but being able to swap them out on the fly is incredibly handy and it proved very useful and effective when I was out of town this last week. Just tossed the drained one on the charger and grabbed the other 2000mAh battery.

A full charge can last all day for me EASILY from normal phone usage. Learn how to kill apps and tweak display settings and you have nothing to worry about.

id say the price could be better.... and have no idea what your average joe needs 2 batterys for

My husband was going to pay almost $150 for a wall mount for his smaller 17" NEC monitor to hang up over his 27" iMac. He had me searching all over the internet including ebay for the best deal on the exact (more expensive) one that he wanted. Then he somehow came across this one and we purchased it right away. The quality is excellent, it was a snap to install, all the hardware was included and after measuring it and marking the wall, it was up and hanging in about 3 minutes. We are not hanging a huge monitor on it but my husband is very picky and he is thrilled with this mount. Will definitely buy this brand again and would definitely purchase from this seller. Very happy.

Needed a replacement battery for my HP G60 laptop when it failed. HP wanted around $129 for it on their website and it seemed ridiculous to order a $129 battery for a $400 laptop. Found this battery for around $25 with shipping and in the month I've had it, it's worked as good as or better than the original. I do SEO and I'm constantly going to meetings with new prospects in coffee shops and restaurants. I checked the HP website looking for a new battery; mine kept dieing on me. I was looking at $100+ after shipping and handling, so I called a friend who could get wholesale prices. He quoted me $80! It still was cheaper than HP, it was cheaper than buying a new netbook or another laptop, right?

Then it occurred to me to check online before buying anywhere else. I saw the offer on amazon for what you are looking at right now but I was worried it might be a scam as I saw a review of someone else having a problem with their battery not going into the laptop as it was suppose to. I have a HP G61, and with an order of an extra adapter I didn't have to pay for shipping.

Now I have a brand new battery that fits in perfectly where it's suppose to so I can give presentations for hours without worrying about an outlet being available(you can see my work at[...]), and I have an extra adapter for my briefcase for longer trips; all at almost a fourth of the price they charge at HP!

Noticed that there were some less than stellar reviews, but this battery is exactly what it says, a battery. Just to confirm a couple of things:

- There are no instructions in the packaging
- Plug it into the hole where your old battery was
- Stores electricity after being charged

This has a very short key travel, but not much tactile feedback. If you want something like the new Apple keyboard for your PC, you may like this, but it's not as well built as the Apple boards. The short travel lets you type quickly, but it feels just a little sluggish.

This switch works well in my home. However, as another reviewer said, it has only two different frequencies, and the frequency is NOT selectable. When you buy, you must specify either the "A" or "B" frequency switch. The package is labeled such. Don't get two of the same frequency within range of each other! Oh, and the switch and control block do not look like what is pictured. The control block is bigger and the switch (as mentioned in the other review) is a rocker, not a traditional toggle as pictured.

The remote wall switch solved a big problem in my bedroom where the hot plug is on the opposite tiny wall with no room for a light, but the product could not be more cheaply manufactured. They included two plastic screws to secure the faceplate on to the switch backing. I hand screwed the plastic screws in, and both of the screw heads snapped off. This left the base of the screws inside the backing -- so, I cannot just buy new screws.

I would look for another brand if you are looking for a remote wall switch.

I just got my Kroo case in the mail yesterday for my iPad 2 and absolutely love it! It is exactly what I was wanting, something to protect the front and back of my iPad without adding bulk. The fact that it has the smart cover is an added bonus, I love that it will do the exact same functions as Apple's $40 smart cover at a fraction of the cost. It is a very nice case, and it also has a very smooth and soft feel to it, which helps from slipping out of your hands or what not. Love this case, thinking about getting more in different colors!

Also, the Smart Cover does not protect back of the iPad. This cover does.

The top narrowest section of the pole is so weak the it bends with little force. It arrived bent in the package. Manufacturer needs to reinforce that section.

I bought this flagpole to use while tailgating. It is definitely on the flimsy side, but it has held up through about 10 uses so far. Keep in mind that we haven't had more than 10 mph gusts at any time, and probably mostly 3-5mph breezes. The flag clips included work fairly well. This product isn't terrible at all, but it doesn't exactly convey a feeling of long-term durability either.

Pros - light weight, fairly cheap
Cons - not suitable for any serious wind, likely won't last more than a year or two
